Romans 5:1-4

Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 2 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

James 1:2-4

Dear brothers and sisters,[a] when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

Get Living Again

You may be feeling lost, alone, bullied, frustrated, confused, or whatever. Don't let that stop you from living. Try something new. Step outside of your comfort zone. Be courageous and ask God for His strength that goes beyond all limits and understanding. Saw this quote today from Italian filmmaker Frederico Fellini, “There is no end. There is no beginning. There is only the infinite passion of life.” Reading this made me think about Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” In order for God to create them, he had to preexist them and He had/has that infinite passion for life – your life and well-being. By creating the heavens and the earth, God gave us a place to exist in His creation and presence.

Whether you believe in God or not, He believes in you and wants the very best for you in being a part of His family. Whether you believe in God or not, He loves you unconditionally. Whether you believe in God or not, He has paid the price for you and all people, so you can be confident of this one thing, “that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.” Philippians 1:6.

We then get to live in His eternal victory and blessing with unfathomable joy and peace. No more sorrow. No more pain. And, this is His gift to you. You only need to accept it and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. “For by grace, you are saved through faith in Christ Jesus, and that it is not of yourself, but it is a gift from God, least any persons should boast [of their own doing]. Ephesians 2;8-9

It is not complicated. It actually gives you more freedom and peace in this life. Why not give it a try?
